How long is the bike carrier?
The following is a guide to the mounting length of fork-mount bike carriers so that you can check if they will allow you to fully open your tail gate when fitted. The length quoted is from the centre of the front cross bar to the end of the bike carrier tray. If this length is too long and will prevent opening of the tail gate you can put the carrier on backwards or you may be able to choose an alternative model with a shorter tray length.
